Introduce:
Jeanette, owner of Pension B&B Klaasvaak since March 2019. Together with my family we made the switch from Ouwerkerk to Zierikzee. Our farm sold and “Klaasvaak” purchased. Really in the center, but still with enough green around us.
From March 2019 I therefore also run Pension B&B KlaasVaak and I enjoy doing it. This popular destination means that I have never been bored and learned a lot. The guests experience us as new owners as very pleasant and that is nice. We get nice reviews and with the many tips we try to make everything as good as possible. No regrets so running this B&B is really great fun and everything I expected!
Pension B & B KlaasVaak is a cozy monumental B & B in the middle of the picturesque center of Zierikzee, a middle (z) century town located on the sunny Zeeland island of Schouwen-Duiveland.
Pension B&B KlaasVaak is located in a national monument and is located on the Nieuwe Bogerdstraat, an old street that would not look out of place in an Anton Piek setting. Look especially at the nice different facades. From large to very small, all unique and some, just like our own building, over 200 years old.
You walk right towards the harbor and left to the fish-slop towards the center.
In the Nieuwe Bogerdstraat itself you will find, among other things, nice vintage shops, a toy store with wooden nostalgic toys, a trendy barber and wonderful restaurants such as, for example. “Op den Oek”, highly recommended.
The rooms of Pension B&B KlaasVaak fit in with the monumental character of the building, but are equipped with modern conveniences such as super-fast WiFi, a fridge and a flat-screen TV. Throughout the B&B you can see old charming elements such as the hall with real antique Portuguese tile work.
Our breakfast consists of fresh (local) seasonal products and is served in the special breakfast room where the beautiful morning light enters through the old window frames and creates a particularly relaxed atmosphere.
A nice space to start the day and a good start for your visit to Zierikzee.
But all other things that make Zeeland so unique, such as sea, beach, nature, etc, are within walking and cycling distance.
Our entire B&B is non-smoking.
